Check out my NEW wedding planning packages!

Monday, October 13th, 2008

First let me say I’m sorry for the drop in blogs!  Things have been a little crazy over the past month or so.   Many, many things have been happening!  I’ll be blogging much more over the next week to get you all caught up.  First, as you may have noticed, my logo got a little facelift this month.  Long story, but I ended up with new and cleaner fonts as well as a fabulous new key.  (As if you didn’t know I love keys already)  The new key is also super cute when it’s super tiny, so check it out on my services page.  So much fun!

Second, and probably the most important thing is that I have new packages.  Yes indeedy, I’ve recreated my service packages just for YOU!  I asked some great brides that came my way what they were looking for, and in response, I’ve put together a new and improved, Create-Your-Own Full Service Planning & Coordination Package This new package is a checklist for each of you to check off and make a package that is full service to YOU!  So, let’s say you just want some help getting started, like putting together a plan for your wedding vision and getting a timeline created, plus you’d like some help with your crazy florist, some recommendations on the vendors you have left to hire, then of course you want that day-of help.  Abra-Cadabra, Presto Chango!  Just check that off on the Full Planning & Coordination Package checklist and you’ve got it!  To see what I’m talking about, go here

I also have my Elite Planning & Coordination package for those who want over-the-top service.  This package covers everything from picking the site to making sure your future mother-in-law gets all the help she needs in planning the rehearsal dinner.  It has all the bells and whistles, including a free Custom Wedding Website created by me!  (I love wedding websites because it cuts down on all those pesky aunts calling all the time to get details on the wedding.)

And of course, my Month-Of Coordination Package to finish it all up at the end and make it happen on your big day.  This package includes meetings BEFORE the wedding so we can make sure everyone is on the same page and all is in order so no suprises happen on your wedding day.   What more could a girl ask for?  Check it all out and let me know what you think!

Meet & Greet Postponed

Thursday, September 11th, 2008

Hi all,

I’m sorry to say my meet & greet at Circle Park Bridal has been postponed from this weekend.  With Hurricane Ike bearing down on us, we’d rather be safe than sorry since there will probably be wind gusts of up to 40 mph and heavy rain.  We don’t want you brides getting hurt out there!  Stay tuned as I’m sure we’ll get another date together soon.  Everyone please have a safe weekend!

Ah…. that’s better

And now the blog makeover.  What do you think folks?  Now that the blog looks like the rest of my website, is it better or worse?

Congratulations!

Thanks to everyone who competed in the contest.  The winners are:

1.  Shannon Cole with Happy Trails Carriage Service

2.  Ari Gray with Alternative Wedding Services

3.  Debi Sementelli with Lettering Art Studio

Thank you to the winners and everyone’s feedback on the site.  You all rock!  There are always a few adjustments left to be made, such as making the gallery a little faster and making the blog resemble the rest of the site, so keep an eye out for more changes.  And as always, stay tuned to the blog for more fun tidbits!

It’s here!

The Each & Every Detail website has been reborn with a fresh look and great new features.  I would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on it, so I’ve put together a contest to encourage it!

For the one who can correctly answer the below questions first, you’ll receive a handy $25 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble, my absolutely favorite store!  The two runners up will each receive a $5 Starbucks gift card.

  1. How many pictures of gerber daisies are on my new site, excluding the Galleries page? (These are the bright colored daisies.)
  2. How long does your first consultation with me take?
  3. Which service level offers monthly meetings?
  4. Who is Rosemary?
  5. What is the fourth item on my Anti To-Do List?

Just email your answers to wendy@eachandeverydetail.com and we’ll see who is the quickest on the draw.  Now you bloggers have some competition as I sent an email out with the contest details too.  Ready?  Set, Go!

New website coming…

Saturday, July 12th, 2008

Hold on to your hats folks, we’re going through another website revamp.  I’ll be adding lots new features like a huge FAQ page and a photo gallery.  So, for today no real blog as I’m going to focus on getting the website knocked out.  I’ll be back soon though!  Once the site is up and running, I’ll also have a contest for everyone and a prize.  Stay tuned!

Here it is!

My hints from the last blog relate to our new….OFFICE!  Yes folks, Each & Every Detail now has an office.  I say “our” because I’ll be sharing with Kate the Great from Juxtapose Photography.  It’s all about location, and we love ours!  We are on the square in McKinney, upstairs from Spoons Cafe.  How sweet it is!  (Sweet because of the delish cupcakes available downstairs.)  We have been painting and picking out furniture and all the fun stuff that goes along with moving.  We should have furniture next week and start decorating soon after that.  Once we get it all settled, we will definitely invite everyone for a peek!  Here’s a pic of the building. (We’re upstairs in the one with the red and yellow awnings.)  More pics will come soon as we get things unpacked!

PS.  Here’s how the hints relate:  100 E Louisiana St, the pretty blue color of our office is called Swimming and upstairs is where we are!

Something new…

Ok, I’m busting to tell, but thought I’d make you guess.  What do these items have in common?

 1.  100          2.  Swimming          3.  Upstairs

I know, seems totally random, but I promise they do relate!
