Getting Started Planning Your Wedding
So you just got engaged and now it’s time start planning your wedding. We bet you have questions!
Who do we call first?
What does a wedding cost?
When do we start?
Where do we begin?
How do we get started planning our wedding?
These are a lot of the questions we hear from engaged couples, whether they are calling us, sending us messages on Facebook or they see us at a wedding show. Planning a wedding can be completely overwhelming and it’s hard to even know where to begin! While we would love for each one of these couples to work with us as our clients, we know that some will never hire a planner and some will choose a date we are booked for. So, we’ve added a new info session topic to our line up:
The Keys of Wedding Planning
Like all our other sessions, this one will be free. This two hour info session will provide you all the information you need to get started, from how to create a budget, what to look for in a wedding venue to how to find the right vendors for your wedding. We’ll also cover some basics on how to navigate the guest list, mistakes commonly made by engaged couples and much more! Followed by a half hour q&a session with our certified planners, you will leave with all your questions answered!
For 2012, we’ve decided to offer our info sessions in Dallas and McKinney! Bonus! Choose the location best for you and reserve your seat today. With all the newly engaged couples from the holidays, we expect these to book up fast.
McKinney: Sponsored by the Grand Hotel, this session is on Saturday, February 18th, from 2 to 4:30pm. Visit wedplankeysmckinney.eventbrite.com to register.
Dallas: Sponsored by Edison’s, this session is on Sunday, February 19th, 2 to 4:30pm. Visit wedplankeysdallas.eventbrite.com to register.
We hope to see you there!

Check out our new look for the blog!
With the new website we created this year, we finally have a new blog style to go with it. Be sure to visit our actual blog if you are subscribing through email or through a reader so you can check it all out. We hope you like the new graphics and organization! Thanks to Doodle Dog for the graphics!
Thumbtack Elite Service Award
We were contacted recently by the staff at Thumbtack to let us know we had been awarded their Elite Service title and would be featured on their Thumbtack Spotlight blog. We were blown away and just wanted to say thank you so much! Your confidence means the world to us! To see their blog post, visit here.
In our interview, they asked about any pro-bono efforts and we let them know about a little project we did with Collin County Event Professionals last year. We’ll post more about that in another blog, but just know the picture they featured is from the free wedding giveaway we participated in with CCEP.
Our new website is live!
With all the changes 2010 held for us, we decided to change up the website to reflect more of our style and ideas. We’ve also updated the look of the blog (which yes, you should see here, unless you are using a reader). We of course kept our famous blue and green combo, but we definitely incorporated more keys (much like at our office) and hope to have streamlined it a bit. Please take a look at www.eachandeverydetail.com and let us know what you think!

Need Help Finding Your Key Vendors?
So many times the first question a bride asks us is what we think of another wedding professional. It often comes out at as, have you heard of so and so? Do you think they would be good? Can we afford them? While as wedding planners, it is our job to know these things, we realize that finding the professionals for your wedding can often feel like you are walking blind through a jungle. How do you know who to hire for your wedding team? What questions do you ask? What should the priorities be in your search? Well, we want to make this a little easier.
Each & Every Detail presents a FREE information session on the key to finding your dream wedding team. From the wedding venue to the wedding cake, you’ll find out how to attack this process, what to ask and what are the key points in any vendor interview. Hosted by TPC Craig Ranch, you will not want to miss this valuable information!
Details: February 19th, 9:30-11:30am at TPC Craig Ranch. A light breakfast will be provided and this session is free. Please register to reserve your seat.
