Hi, I'm Wendy Kidd, owner and president of Each & Every Detail. I love people and weddings. As an old friend once told me, I have never met a stranger. Yes, I'm the one who talks to people in grocery store lines. I began in this industry first as a venue event manager, and through that, I found my true passion is helping engaged couples create their perfect wedding. With over six years experience in the industry, I have successfully planned and coordinated over 400 events, including over 150 weddings. I absolutely adore the fact that I get to help plan such an important day in people's lives. I get to share and witness all the special moments that make up that day and know that I was there to help make it happen. I mist up at every wedding I'm at and I hug the necks of my new found friends at the end of their special day knowing we've worked together to make their dreams come true. This is why I know I have the best "job" that exists and why I work so hard at it.

Through the American Association of Certified Wedding Planners, I am a Certified Master Wedding Planner, one of only seven in the organization. What does this mean? It means I have not only completed education and achieved certification, but I have extensive experience. For the exact requirements, click here. To meet these requirements, I have maintained memberships in professional organizations for over five years, been published in two magazines, participated as a board member in two professional organizations, and I have prepared and taught wedding-related programs, among other things. I received my original training through AACWP and the Dallas Wedding Planner program. I continue my education with AACWP with monthly education sessions and by attending networking and education events held by professional industry organizations, such as June Weddings, Inc, National Association of Catering Executives and others.
